Premiership to get improved TV coverage

The television rights holders of the Ghana Premier League are promising improved coverage of football in Ghana as they add-on to their equipments.

On Friday, Optimum Media Prime in partnership with SuperSport, the continental sports broadcaster, launched a modern Outdoor Broadcast Van to boost their coverage of the country's top-flight competition.

OMP hope the commissioning of the modern television equipment will boost their coverage of the country's top-flight competition and increase the number of live Glo Premier League matches that goes on air during match days.

"We view this as our part in enhancing the Ghana football brand after our four years of association with the Glo Premier League," the chairman of OMP Talal Fatal said at the launch.

Ghana Football Association President, Kwesi Nyantakyi who was a special guest at the launch, praised the contribution of OMP to the development of the game in Ghana, insisting that the acquisition of the new equipment will have a positive impact on the league.

"We are confident that the OB Van can help enhance the quality of the coverage of the league and continue to improve on Glo Premier League," Nyantakyi said.
