  • Ishaque Yartey, brother of Ghana's junior international, Ishmael Yartey left the country on the 5th of April, to Portugal for trails with division one league leaders, SC Beira Mar

  • West Ham are planning a summer move for Portsmouth midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng, who is one of a host of Pompey players set to leave Fratton Park at the end of the season

  • Salou Ibrahim has signed with Major League Soccer's New York Red Bulls. Salou, who played on trial in last month's exhibition win over Brazil's Santos, will be available for Saturday's game at Chivas USA, when New York tries for the first 3-0 MLS start in team history.
    He has played for Germany's Wandsbek 81 (1998-99) and Duisburg (2008-09); Belgium's Turnhout (2000-04), Kortrijk (2004-05), Zulte-Waregem (2005-06) and Brugge (2006-08); and Denmark's Vejle (2009-10).

  • George Owu has signed for home side AshantiGold to revive hopes of playing at the summer global football fiesta in South Africa in June.

  • Wolverhampton Wanderers may be looking to negotiate a loan deal for Olympique Marseille's Ghana starlet Jordan Ayew.

  • Kotoko’s striker Alex Asamoah has joined South Korean League side Gyeongnam FC on a one-year deal worth US$150,000. Asamoah played for Ghanaian top flight sides Berekum Arsenals and AshantiGold Football Clubs. The 23-year-old was the Ghana Premier League top scorer in 2009 and earned his debut with the national team on December 4, 2008.

  • Liverpool are planning a shock raid on Manchester United for teenage sensation John Cofie. Cofie, 17, born in Ghana, joined United from Burnley two years ago and is rated one of Sir Alex Ferguson's best emerging strikers - he is already in the reserve team picture. But the Kop was his preferred destination before he left Burnley and he may be tempted to quit Old Trafford for Anfield, where he could be fast-tracked into the first team as the club are desperate to land top young talent to build a new team.

  • Stoke are weighing up a £5million move for towering Ghana midfielder Isaac Vorsah. The 20-year-old powerhouse has been a big hit in Germany this season playing a key role with Hoffenheim's surprise rise up the Bundeslig

  • Everton and Wolves will watch Hoffenheim defender Isaac Vorsah this weekend. The 6ft 5in Ghanaian, 21, can also play defensive midfield where he excelled last week against Bayern Munich.

  • Lawrence Aidoo signs for a German 5th division side FC Wegberg-Beeck.

February

  • 22 Feb: According to Dutch sources, RKC Waalwijk's midfielder Anthony Obodai is wanted by American MLS club Kansas City Wizards

  • Godwin Attram has agreed a three-month deal United Arab Emirates second-tier side Hottaim FC in a deal worth US$ 150,000. The 30-year-old turned down a contract extension offer from his former Saudi side Al Shabab to aid Hottaim's promotion. The former Ghana Under-17 captain has struggled to play in the major European Leagues after leaving Dutch side PSV in 1999.

  • FC Dallas released defender Aziz Ansah on Saturday, less than two months after signing the 29-year-old. Ansah has played nine times for his country. He spent the last two seasons with Heartland in Nigeria, and previously played in Belgium, Israel, Italy and Ghana. Dallas just signed Ansah in January, when manager Schellas Hyndman said, "Aziz will be a good addition to the FC Dallas defense."

  • Under20 International Michael Tawiah has signed a two and half years contract with Levski Sofia Football Club. Bulgarian champions and UEFA and Champions league regular participants.
    Michael Joins the Champions of Bulgaria from PFC Lokomotiv Mezdra also in Bulgaria. The young lad who is only 19 years left his local club Ambah FC in Ghana only a year and half ago and has since established himself as one the hottest young player's in the Bulgarian top division.

  • Tottenham are interested in Ghana goalkeeper George Owu, who has been offered a trial following his release by Egyptian club Al Masry. Manager Harry Redknapp could make the 27-year-old his understudy to Heurelho Gomes.

  • Feb 4: Striker Eric Sarkey, signed for Myanmar club Yangon United

  • Ghana starlet David Addy has joined Portuguese giants FC Porto from Danish side Randers FC in a deal reported to be in the region of 800,000 euros.

  • (Jan 26) Spanish side Malaga are moving for Spartak Moscow's Ghana international Quincy Owusu-Abeyie before the winter transfer window shut on 31 January. Owusu-Abeyie played for Celta Vigo on loan from his Russian employers during the 2007/2008 season in the Segunda Liga. Malaga is struggling this term in the Spanish top flight as they lie two places above the relegation mark by superior goal difference

  • Bristol City have signed striker Patrick Agyemang on loan for the rest of the season from Championship rivals Queens Park Rangers.

  • 33 year old midfielder Mark Edusei moves from swiss club AC Bellinzona to Serie B club UC Albino Leffe in Italy.

  • Former Ajax and Arsenal striker Quincy Owusu-Abeyie is reportedly a target for Portsmouth as the beleaguered Premier League outfit looks to add firepower to their squad

  • The agent of Triestina's Ghana midfielder Edmund Hottor has confirmed a move to AC Milan on Monday is on. "On Monday, it is very likely that there will be medical examinations, and if everything checks out, then right away he will also sign. I'll wait until next week to put everything in black and white," Leonardo Giusti told MilanNews.it. "The player is obviously thrilled to join Milan. And it's a glorious team that has won many national and international trophies, only entering the trophy room makes you shudder."

  • Jan 8: 23-year-old Hearts midfielder Esme Mends will sign for Spanish side Valencia next week if he passes a medical test. The Spanish side will pay Hearts of Oak 400,000 Euros

  • FC Dallas has signed defender Aziz Ansah. The 29-year-old Ansah spent the past two seasons with Heartland FC in Nigeria. He will be eligible to play for FC Dallas pending receipt of international transfer paperwork. Ansah has played for teams in Israel, Belgium, Italy and Ghana since turning pro in 1998. He was a member of Ghana's U-17 national team.

  • Sadick Adams has joined Serbian giants Vojvodina Novi Sad from Spanish outfit Atletico Madrid. The 20-year-old was axed by Atletico after he failed to make an impression at the club since joining them in a controversial move in 2007. Adams signed a four-year contract with Vojvodina and he will begin his deal this week in a bid to revive his flagging career.
