We must improve our finishing - Hearts coach

Hearts of Oak head coach and director of football Kim Grant has no plans to ditch his current philosophy despite watching his side suffer consecutive defeats in the Ghana Football Association Normalisation Committee Special Competition.

Having lost 1-0 to Elmina Sharks on Wednesday, the Accra-based side slumped to a second reversal in four days as they were beaten 1-0 by Karela on Sunday.

The result has left the Phobians third from bottom on the eight-team Zone B table.

“We just need to be more clinical in front of goals," Grant said.

“Nothing is going to change. We are going to approach the [next] game with the same process and everything.

“They [Karela] had a couple of shot but more or less, they didn’t break us down.

“My philosophy is going to stay the same. We going to try and win the next game."

Hearts are set to face Ebusua Dwarfs on matchday four on Wednesday.

The Crabs, meanwhile, sit bottom of the table, having lost all three games played thus far.
