Captain of Accra Hearts of Oak, Thomas Abbey, has reiterated the need for a response when they face off against Berekum Chelsea in week 22 of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) after their 1-0 loss to Bechem United last Sunday.

The Phobians seek redemption against Berekum Chelsea after back-to-back defeats in the ongoing GPL which halted their surge on the league log.

According the energetic attacking midfielder who is the top scoring for his side, they have to put their recent defeats in the GPL aside and focus on their midweek clash against Chelsea.

“Our last defeat was a painful one but we have to put that aside and focus on our next game. We don’t want to think about Sunday’s clash against Kotoko but the main focus is on our next game where we have to secure all three points at home,” Abbey said in an interview.

The highly anticipated clash between Hearts and Berekum Chelsea is expected to kick start at 3:30 pm local time on Wednesday.
