Local representative of Asante Kotoko forward Sogne Yacouba, Gyasi Kay, has stated emphatically that his client not worried about his poor goalscoring form.

has downplayed reports that his client is weighed down by his goalscoring drought.

The Burkinabe international is on a goal drought as he has failed to score in seven competitive games for the Porcupine Warriors.

He missed a lot of chances in Wednesday’s CAF Confederation Cup game against ZESCO United despite registering two assists on the matchday.

"Songne Yacouba is not worried about his goal drought and he believes the goals will flow at the right time," he told Ashh FM.

"Kotoko supporters should be calm and keep supporting Songne Yacouba and I know things will start working for him very soon."

Mr. Gyasi added, "The goal drought of Songne Yacouba is not anything attributed to spiritualism so we should just support him and give him time". I can also say his goal drought can also be attributed to the lack of competitive games in the Country."

"The system of play in the Kotoko team has changed and every player on the field can score in games," he concluded.
