Head coach of West Africa Football Academy (WAFA), Klaus Rasmussen has observed that getting the first goal against Aduana Stars helped his team to secure victory over last season’s champions.

Goals from Musah Nuhu and Aminu Mohammed aided WAFA to a 2-0 win to continue their run of 46 unbeaten home games. Speaking to the media in a post-match interview, Klaus Rassmusen admitted that scoring the first goal enabled WAFA to settle well adding that, it also boosted their confidence in the second half.

“It was nice and a lot changed in the transition. We took good care and had to score first and that was a good thing for us and our confidence” said the Danish manager who however lamented the tight fixtures and injury worries.

“I am very happy about the way the game went except for a few injuries and I am a little bit sorry about that because we have to play on Saturday again but all three points at home and after this performance, that was very good” he added. WAFA will face Elmina Sharks on Saturday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
