Spokesperson of Hearts of Oak Opare Addo has criticized player Samudeen Ibrahim over his indiscipline behaviour at the club.

According to the communication officer, the decision to suspend the midfielder is aimed at serving as a deterrent to other players.

Hearts of Oak have won no major trophies in nine years and the recent player exodus has infuriated supporters the more and it is not good times.

Hearts of Oak announced the suspension against the former King Solomon player citing violations of contract after missing training at Pobiman without granted permission.

“It’s, true that Samudeen Ibrahim has been suspended indefinitely for multiple violations of player contract,” He told Happy FM sports.

“We are doing this to deter others from doing so. Samudeen has been missing from training for sometimes now without seeking permission. It is not just about the training session that he has been missing. Samudeen has been misbehaving for while” He said.

Opare Addo also rubbished claims that Samudeen contract with Hearts of Oak has expired.

“Ignorantly people are saying Samudeen contract with Hearts of Oak is expired. How can we suspend a player that we don’t have a contract with? He quizzed.

Opare Addo also confirmed the player received his suspension letter via WhatsApp platform as the club does not know his whereabouts.

” I can confirm that Samudeen has received his suspension letter through a WhatsApp message” he said.
