Ofosu Appiah scores in Estonian top-flight

Ghana defender Ofosu Appiah scored his debut goal for Tallinna Infonet in the Estonian top-flight on Wednesday as they defeated Nõmme Kalju 2-1 at the Lasnamäe Kergejõustikuhalli kunstmuruväljak.

The former Kotoko centre-back scored his side’s second in the 33rd minute after Ferreira Rodrigues had scored an own goal to cancel out Artjom Dmitrijev 6th minute strike for Nõmme Kalju.

Ofosu-Appiah, who was only making his second appearance for the Club since joining them from Latvian side FC Skonto, enjoyed the full 90 minutes of the game.

Ghanaian teammate Haminu Dramani was also introduced to play the last 12 minutes of the game.

The win sends Tallinna Infonet to the top of the League table with 6 points after two matches.
