Media putting pressure on my players - Kotoko coach

Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Charles Kwablan Akonnor has warned the media against mounting pressure on his team to deliver.

Over the weekend, the Porcupine Warriors suffered a 1-0 defeat to Sudanese heavyweights, Al Hilal Omdurman in Khartoum in the Group C opener of the 2018/2019 CAF Confederation Cup to end the Reds unbeaten run in the competition.

“No one should put pressure on the players, it will only Cost the team, we will win but don’t put pressure on them, the pressure should be directed to me, the media should stop putting pressure on the players”, he notified.
