Majeed Ashimeru featured for Red Bull Salzburg in their 2-0 home defeat to Liverpool in their final UEFA Champions League Group clash on Tuesday night.

The Ghanaian international was brought on in the 89th minute as replacement for Dominik Szoboszlai with the match already effectively lost.

Two quick-fire strikes from Naby Keita and Mohammed Salah in the second half ensured the defending Champions progressed to the last 16 stage as Group E winner.
