Asante Kotoko striker, Saddick Adams has been discharged from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi days after going on admission.

The Kotoko top marksman was hospitalised shortly after he was driven from the stadium in an ambulance to the health facility during the 60th Independence Anniversary match against rivals Hearts of Oak at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The game ended goalless. Hearts of Oak were however handed the trophy, having won the first leg 3-1 in May at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Saddick Adams however didn’t finish the game.

Kotoko medics declined telling the media exactly what happened to their player except to point out that, he suffered no brain damage after CT scans were conducted.

Meanwhile, the club confirmed on Boxing Day that, the player has been discharged from the Teaching Hospital.

“The striker has been discharged from KATH’s emergency unit and will be accompanied home by [a member] of medical team” the club said on their Twitter account.
