Kotoko draws two Zambian oppositions in CAF Confederation Cup 2019

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have drawn two Zambian sides, Nkana FC and Zesco United FC, along with Sudanese side Al Hilal in Group C of the group phase of the Total CAF Confederation Cup 2019.

Kotoko who tumbled out Cameroon's Coton Sport from the competition with a 5:3 aggregate after away and home wins, are hopeful they will go far in the competition.

The draw on Monday afternoon held at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, has opened fierce debates over the competitiveness of the tournament as Group A also brought together as many as three Moroccan sides.

Defending champions Raja Club Athletic, face off compatriots RS Berkane and Hassania Agadir, along with Congolese champions, AS Otoho.
