The Porcupine Warriors unsuccessfully tried to secure three Ashanti Gold players namely – James Akaminko, Shafiu Mumuni and Richard Dodji – to strengthen their squad for their Africa campaign.

But the Miners coach Svetislav Tanasijevic believes what Kotoko demanded was too difficult to accept especially when they are rival clubs.

“It’s too much for Kotoko to ask for three players from one club. That’s too difficult to accept.” the Serbian trainer told Silver FM on Monday.

The former Berekum Chelsea coach however disclosed the trio could end up signing for European clubs.

“Probably the players can end up signing fro clubs in Europe but not in Ghana.” he added.
