Ghana forward, Jordan Ayew has revealed that he is eager to end the country's 37 years trophy drought this year.

The country have come close to win the ultimate in 1992, 2010 and 2015.

And despite winning the silver medal with the team at the 2015 edition of the competition hosted in Gabon/Equatorial Guinea, the Crystal Palace forward is eager to end the country's 37 years trophy drought.

“This season, the most important thing for me is the Afcon that is coming. I’ve been thinking about it for the past 1 year or so,” Jordan Ayew told Ghanaweb.

“I know what I have to do to get ready, my colleagues as well know what they have to do to get ready for this tough task coming in 3 months.”

Kwesi Appiah is expected to name his squad for the tournament after the Africa Cup of Nations draw on April 12.
