Ghana and Fiorentina midfielder Alfred Duncan says he trains 'as much as possible' at home during the lockdown with hopes of returning to football soon.

The midfielder who joined La Viola in the winter transfer window made only three appearances for the club before the suspension of Serie A due to the coronavirus.

With everybody in quarantine, the 26-year old disclosed he works hard to stay fit ahead of a possible return of the league.

“We are all doing our best. I try to train as much as possible at home, even if it is not the same thing," he told Calciomercato.

"As Iachini said, it will take about 3 to 4 weeks to get back into a condition that will play a game. And we will have to be very careful about injuries," he added.

Duncan is already a key part of manager Giuseppe Iachini team after helping the club to a thumping 5-1 win against Sampdoria on his debut, followed by draws against AC Milan and Udinese.
