Gold Coast Matcom Ltd, one of the leading Food and Beverage distribution company in Ghana has donated assorted food items worth GH¢35, 000.00 to the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection.

The donation according to Mr. Michael Sorsey, marketing officer of the company said the donation is to help support the Ministry to feed the needy and the poor during the partial lockdown.

The Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, Hon. Cynthia Mamle Morrison who received the items on behalf of the Ministry thanked Gold Coast Matcom for their timely intervention and support.

She said the items will be distributed to the needy as well as the various orphanage homes at the lockdown areas.

The items includes: 1409 packs of Dimes Fruit Juice, 60 jars of Nutella Chocolate and hazelnut spread, 7200 pots of pascual dessert, 240kg of Lesieur mayonnaise and 5,040 packs of Bifa chocolate bars.
