Two high-profile preparatory games against Namibia and South Africa have been firmed up for the Black Stars ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations finals, Footy-Ghana.com can report.

The Ghana FA Normalization reached the agreements for both games to be played during the team’s training camp in the United Arab Emirates.

Footy-Ghana.com sources say the games have been tentatively set to be played on June 6 and 9.

There are also considerations for one more game against a local side during the Dubai training camp.

Head coach Kwasi Appiah is expected to announce his provisional squad next week.

The Black Stars will be heading for the UAE on June 1 where they will hold a comprehensive three-week camping before making a short trip into Egypt for the Afcon.

Ghana, who will be seeking to end a 37-year wait for a Nations Cup trophy, are in Group F where they are billed to face defending champions Cameroon, Benin and Guinea-Bissau.
