Ghana bow out of FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup

Ghana had lots of possession against China PR but failed to find target at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup as they exited the competition.

The Black Princesses lost 1-0 to China in the final Group D match at the Komaba Stadium in Saitama on Monday to finish bottom of the group.

Zhao Xindi's 35th minute goal ended the Black Princesses hopes of leaving the stage with a win following two straight losses to the United States and Germany.

But there was never to be a happy ending for Ghana, who failed to score a single goal in three matches.

Despite the win, China miss out of the second round as Germany, who beat the U.S. 3-0 in the other game go through with the North Americans.
