George Amoako denies meeting Barcelona Vice President

Newly appointed General manager of Asante Kotoko, Goerge Amoako has denied a report that he flew to Accra to meet the Vice President of Spanish top-flight side FC Barcelona.

Goerge Amoako also admitted that a lot of work is going on behind the scenes for a possible friendly game between Asante Kotoko and FC Barcelona, but the negotiation with the Agency has just started and no agreement has been reached.

“I didn’t meet the Vice President of Barcelona, I only met the Agency who want to arrange the game with Barcelona and Barcelona agency in Africa,” He told Kessben FM in Kumasi.

Bringing Barcelona wouldn’t give us food on the table” He explained.

Goerge Amoako also stated that, the club will officially come out with any developments regarding the proposed game with FC Barcelona.
