Formed in 2016 after consultation with departed seasoned coach, EK Afranie, the club finished second in the Division Two Zone B league and are gunning for promotion to Division One in the forthcoming league.

Officials of the club have also said proceeds from the sale of players would be directed at clearing destitutes from the streets.

It has plans of building a sports arena which will feature para sport prominently.

Club president Daniel Nii Mensah said in an interview “We started this project with departed coach Afranie with the key differentiator  of our programs being holistic development of the football player. Unfortunately, he didn’t live long to see this come true.

“Our concept has been developed with the intension to form new development centres in schools and communities  across  the country.

“Our scouting team scouts for young talented footballers aged between 16 and 22 years in a nationwide search. We have many talented players who posses relatively high skill levels and the right attitude every club is looking for.”

He added “We have a well-developed football network  in Africa, America, Asia and Europe. We are also represented by a good number of experienced  football scouts in CAF and in local leagues.”

Dan De-Van Sporting Club is a subsidiary  of Dan De-Van Group of companies founded upon the premise of developing  talented young football players as future stars with the objective to transform these players for the international market.
