Albert Commey, Chief Executive Officer of Dormaa based Aduana Stars who's also a member of the Executive Committee of the injuncted Ghana Football Association has branded the government as a corrupt institution and doesn't have the moral authority to dissolve the Ghana Football Association.

The government through the office of the Attorney General has gone to court seeking to dissolve the GFA after it was shown in a documentary on football corruption by ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his Tiger Eye Pi dubbed #Number 12 that some top officials of the association took a various amounts of monies to manipulate the game through their position.

According to Albert Commey who's angry about how the Attorney General branded the whole association as a symbol of criminality and not fit for purpose, said on Kumasi based Silver FM that he sees the statement by the Attorney General as an unfortunate comment, because not all the members of the association were caught in the expo?e so to brand all of them as criminals is not a fair comment.

"Though some of our members took various amounts of Bribes but you can't use that to describe all of us as criminals. I, for instance, I wasn't part of the expo?e so why include me as a criminal."

Albert Commey further expressed that, the government should first check itself before saying it is going to dissolve the GFA because the government itself is corrupt.

"Look at the pot telling the kettle is black. Didn't we see what happened during their just ended congress?. They should look at themselves before talking about coming to dissolve the GFA."

Albert Commey is one of the most experienced football administrators in the country and has worked with a number of Ghana Premier league clubs including Accra Hearts of Oak and Medeama SC before joining Aduana Stars.
