CAF Confed. Cup: Aduana Stars walloped by Raja Casablanca

Aduana Stars could not end their CAF Confederation Cup group campaign on a good note after losing 6-0 to Raja Casablanca at the Stade Mohamed V.

The Ghana Champions could not add up to the points tally they had as they conceded four goals in the first 45minutes.

Mouhcine Iajour scored as early in the 3rd minute when he tapped home from close range after receiving a pass from the right.

Iajour scored his second with a superb header from a cross by Abdeljalil Jbira.

Mohamed Rahimi registered the third for the home side from a rebound after his early effort was saved by Aduana Stars goalkeeper Gordon Yeboah.

Youngster Mohammed Amine Routbi added another with a stunning long-range effort to beat Gordon Yeboah at the far post.

Substitute Mahmoud Benhalib scored the fifth goal for Raja Casablanca after his shot flipped through the arms of Aduana Stars goalkeeper Gordon Yeboah.

Benhalib got his second and his side’s sixth with a sleep finish in the 82nd minute.

The results sends Raja Casablanca through to the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup.
