C.K Akunnor snubs Dreams FC, signs two year deal with Ashgold

Former Black Stars player, C.K. Akunnor has agreed a two year deal to become the Head coach of Ashanti Gold.

The ex-Dreams FC coach was hired by Ashanti Gold midway through the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League season following their struggles and led them to survive the drop.

A reliable source reveal to that the Miners have named C.K. Akunnor to lead the team in the next two Ghana Premier League seasons after declining to extend his stay with his former employers, Dreams FC.

The 43-year old will officially take full control of the team where he will be engaged in the team’s preseason training next week.

Akunnor has managed some Ghana Premier League including Sekondi Eleven Wise and Accra Hearts of Oak.
