Asantehene to meet board & mngt of Kotoko

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene and owner of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Football Club, will hold a meeting with members of the Board of Directors and Management of Asante Kotoko Football club on Saturday, February 1.

A release issued from the Asantehene's office and signed by Mr Kofi Owusu Boateng, the personal secretary, said the Manhyia Palace had taken notice of concerns being expressed by followers of the club with regard to the position of management viz-a-viz the board of directors and other related issues.

It said Manhyia Palace would particularly want to ask the playing body and the teeming supporters of the club to remain calm and stay focused while steps were being taken to address their concerns.

The release expressed the hope that the outcome of the meeting would meet the aspirations of all stakeholders of the club.
