Aduana Stars striker, Bright Adjei, says they are preparing vigorously for their upcoming CAF Champions League clash against Libyan side, Al Tahaddy in the preliminary round of this year’s competition.

Despite crashing out of this year’s GHALCA G-8 tournament, Aduana Stars remain the sole representatives for Ghana in this year’s CAF Champions League scheduled to commence on February 9, 2018.

According to Adjei, they remain poised for the upcoming challenge and they have been training very hard to thrive in the competition.

“Preparations towards Africa is on a high because during the Christmas and New Year holidays, we were still in camping preparing for the CAF Champions League as well the League. If we really want to thrive in the Africa competition we really need to work very hard, ” Adjei told Ashh FM.

Adjei further stated the significance of the inclusion of certain experienced players to the squad which has made the team very strong ahead of the CAF Champions League.

“We so many new players among us, who are very good and experienced, so their inclusion to the team will be very helpful to our quest to conquer Africa.”
