Besides most of the historical biblical cities like Bethlehem, Jericho and Hebron are found in Palestine. Joshua should not hide behind the name Israel and deceive us. This modern Israel was only created in 1948 out of the ancient Roman state of Palestine. Israel in the bible was only used to refer to the progeny of Abraham through Isaac/Jacob. It wasn't a country as we're seeing today.
