Founder and Leader of the Church of Rabbi, Prophet Kwabena Tawiah has predicted that the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) led by Nana Akufo-Addo will win the 2016 general elections.

According to him, though some detractors are praying hard against Nana Addo becoming the president of the country, he is very certain that the leader of the largest opposition party will become the president of Ghana after the 2016 general elections.

Prophet Kwabena Tawiah made this known on Asempa FM’s Asetena Mu Nsem Friday hosted by Maurice Ofosu.

“I can tell you on authority that Nana Addo will win the 2016 election and he will become the president of Ghana. He just needs to be prayerful because there are some enemies within his party who do not want him to become president” he stated.

Prophet Tawiah, whose prophecies for the last twenty-eight years have almost always come to pass, however cautioned the NPP not to make ‘nonsense’ out of his predictions because the doom that befell the party in 2012 which made them lose the election may repeat itself if the right steps are not taken.

Speaking on the death of the former chairman of the NPP, Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey, Prophet Tawiah said “Ghana will witness death of eight (8) more great leaders because 9 people have been named and so far one is gone and so we need to be very prayerful” he stated.

Mr Obetsebi-Lamptey died on March 20 in the United Kingdom after a short illness. Mr Obetsebi-Lamptey served in various ministerial positions during the Kufuor administration and led the NPP in the 2012 general elections.
