Christian women urged to let their lives shine

Kumasi, Feb 23, GNA- Madam Monica Agyenim Boateng, President of the Suntreso Archdeaconry Women's Fellowship of the Anglican Church, has urged Christian women to let their lives shine and impact positively on members of the communities in which they lived.

The President of the Fellowship, who made the call at a meeting of members of the various parishes in the Archdeaconry, at the Asokwa, also asked the women to portray true love and service to humankind in order to win more souls for Christ.

She charged the women to rededicate themselves to the service of God by upholding the Christian virtues and teaching their children about the tenets of the religion.

Madam Grace Dwomoh, Kuma si Metro Public Education Officer at the Department of Community Development, who spoke on tuberculosis, advised people suffering from the disease to report to the hospital, saying it was now curable and the treatment was free.

She also urged women to embark on income generating activities to enable them to meet their financial commitments to the Church and their families.
