Isaac Nii Armah Komey, a contestant for the chairmanship of the upcoming La-Dadekotopon constituency executive elections of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has appealed to delegates to vote massively for him to be able to unite the fragmented groupings in the area.

He said when given the nod, he would ensure that committed foot-soldiers of the party were recognised and rewarded for their hard work to bring unity among the rank and file to ensure a strong team to confront the 2020 elections.

Nii Komey said: “We fought hard to wrest the constituency seat from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) after losing it for three consecutive parliamentary elections and therefore there was the need for us to retain the seat come the 2020 elections.”

Nii Komey made the appeal when he addressed NPP delegates at Abese/Abafum/Kowe Electoral Area at La in Accra.

He said the needed transformation of the party in the constituency could come if he was voted to be the chairman as he would join hands with the executives to ensure that the women wings were established in all the ten electoral areas.

He promised to form an electoral executive committee to support the work of the constituency executive to implement the programmes of the party to bring democracy to the door steps of the people as well as in the dissemination of information.

Nana Henry Asante, the Campaign Manager of the aspirant called on the delegates to give Nii Komey the opportunity by voting massively for him for the constituency to benefit from his (aspirant) rich ideas that would bring transformation and happiness to the people.
