Vincent Sowah Odotei’s appointment revoked

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has re-assigned the Deputy Health Minister, Alexander Kodwo Kom Abban to the Communications Ministry.

This comes after the revocation of the Deputy Communications Minister, Vincent Sowah Odotei’s appointment.

A statement signed by the Director of Communications at the presidency did not state why Mr Odotei's appointment was revoked.

Mr Abban will be replaced at the Health Ministry by Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku, Dr Bernard Oko-Boye.

"President Akufo-Addo is hopeful that Parliament will expedite the vetting of the Deputy Minister-designate for Health, so he can assume his office as quickly as possible." The statement read.
