Rainstorm rips off roof of school building at Yaw Bofourkrom

Yaw Bofourkrom (B/A) March 4 GNA - A severe rainstorm has ripped the roof of a three-classroom block, office and store of the Local Authority Primary School at Yaw Bofourkrom in the Dormaa District of Brong Ahafo. Damage to property is estimated at about three million cedis. Mr. Williams Akpoe Amo, Headteacher of the school, who disclosed this to Ghana News Agency added that about 80 pupils were displaced and were attending classes under shady trees. He appealed to the Dormaa District Office of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) to assist in the rehabilitation of the school.
