Our husbands are sexually weak due to our poor road network - Nyenyanu residents

Residents, traders and commercial drivers at Nyenyanu in the Central Region on Monday, March, 25, 2019, demonstrated against their poor road network.

The angry demonstrators clad in red demanded an immediate repair of their road network to help enhance trading activities in the area and movement.

One of the drivers who joined the demonstration told Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that “the potholes on the roads are always damaging our cars and our pleas have fallen on deaf ears.”

He said, politicians have always lied to us for far too long hence the decision to demonstrate to press home our demand to have the poor roads fixed.

For the women, they claimed the poor nature of roads in the area, has affected the sexual performance of their spouses.

"Our spouses are unable to satisfy us in bed due to the poor nature of our roads. The situation has affected them so badly to the extent that they are unable to sexually satisfy us [wives] in bed,’’ one of the women who joined the demonstration said.

They have also promised to teach the current government a lesson if their request is not addressed immediately.

Meanwhile, the MCE, Mr Solomon Quiatto, has assured residents government will soon fix the road.
