Nana Dadee Oworodom appeals against BA house of chiefs decision

Nana Boadan Panin Dadee Oworodom, Paramount Chief of the
Nsoatre Traditional Area, has appealed against the decision of the Judicial
Committee of the Brong-Ahafo regional House of Chiefs on 23rd August
2011, to struck off a petition brought before it against Obrempong Boachie
Amoah Kromansah II, as Paramount Chief of Nsoatre Traditional Area. Below is the
full text of the appeal:

NOTICE OF APPEAL
PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT, petitioner/Appellant herein,
aggrieved and dissatisfied with the ruling/decision of the JUDICIAL COMMITTEE,
BRONG-AHAFO
REGIONAL HOUSE OF CHIEFS, dated 23rd day of August, 2011 DOTH HEREBY
APPEAL TO THE NATIONAL HOUSE OF CHIEFS, KUMASI, on the grounds stated in paragraph
3, and will
at the hearing of this appeal seek the reliefs set forth in paragraph 4 below and
the persons to be affected by this
appeal is described in paragraph 5.

2) PART OF THE RULING COMPLAINED OF:

a) The entire ruling dated on the 23rd day of
August, 2011, and the quantum of cost awarded against the Appellant

GROUNDS OF APPEAL

a) The committee/panel members erred when they dismissed the
petitioner/appellant’s petition
b) The entire exercise/purported trial made by Nananom on
the 23rd August, 2011 is/was tainted with procedural irregularities,
breach of the natural justice rule etc
c) The committee/panel members failed to consider adequately
the issues set out in the petition and the Recommendations of the paramount chief of
Sunyani Traditional council
d) That the cost awarded against the appellant/petitioner
was improper, unfair and untenable and excessive
e) That additional grounds of appeal shall be filed upon the
receipt of the record of proceedings

4) RELIEFS BEING SOUGHT

a) To reverse/set
aside the ruling/decision of the Honourable Court/committee dated the 23rd day of
AUGUST, 2011and to order full trial of the petition
