NDC parliamentary candidate for Tano North Constituency donates items to help fight coronavirus

The Parliamentary Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for Tano North Constituency, Pius Opoku has embarked on a coronavirus awareness campaign to help fight the pandemic.

The campaign, according to him is aimed at helping raise awareness, sensitize, and prevent the spread of the deadly Covid-19 across the length and breadth of the Tano North constituency in the Ahafo Region of Ghana.

As part of activities, Pius Opoku donated materials such as Veronica buckets, hand sanitisers, rubbing alcohol, carbolic and liquid soaps, dustbins, plastic cans, t-roll among many others.

Some of the beneficiaries were; nananom, prison servicemen and inmates, market women, farmers among others.

The team, which was made up of constituency executives of the NDC also embarked on sensitisation and educational campaign on COVID-19 in the communities through the various information centers in the district.

The Parliamentary Candidate urged everyone to adhere to the various precautionary measure put in place by the Ghana Health Service to help save lives.

Pius Opoku further pledged his unflinching support for the constituency to ensure the development of the area.
