Mpohor MP aspirant donates PPEs to health directorate

John Sanie, a Parliamentary Candidate aspirant for the NPP in the Mpohor Constituency has donated ten Infrared temperature guns and five hundred face masks to the Mpohor District Health Directorate, as part of his contribution to combating the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mrs. Mina Duah, the District Director of Health who received the items on behalf of the district, expressed her profound gratitude for the gesture, which she said was a timely intervention that will boost the district's preparedness to checking the pandemic.

She said the items will be dispatched to various communities and CHPS compounds in Mpohor, Ayiem, Obrayebona, Angu, Manso, Adansi, Botogyena, Mampong and Wiredukrom.

Similar items were also distributed to chiefs, healthcare officials, assembly members, opinion leaders and polling station executives in the Mpohor district.

Residents expressed gratitude to John Sanie for his continuous assistance to communities in the Mpohor constituency.

John Sanie advised the people to properly adhere to all the approved safety protocol measures "so that together, we can eradicate this deadly pandemic".

It is worth noting that this donation, the third of its kind by John Sanie, comes barely two weeks after an initial donation of some PPE, hand sanitizers, Veronica buckets, and other valuable antiseptics and toiletries worth over GHS60,000 to the Mpohor District Health Directorate.
