Mr. John Amo made this known when he spoke on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5fm.

According to him, all the goods lands have been given to estate developers which is making it difficult for them to provide those foods.

For instance, we are told that the key vitamins that fortify our immune system are vitamins A,B6, C, and E. Fortunately for us, in Ghana, all of these can be found in many of our foods, such as oranges, kontonmire, millet cashew nuts, crabs, plantain, okro, dawadawa, brown rice and mushrooms”

The farmer in his comments agreed with the position taken by the president that local foods are indeed good for boosting the immune system, but there are no lands to plants those foods, he insisted.
