Krachi East MP supports women with tractor, other implements

Mr Michael Yaw Gyato, Member of Parliament (MP), Krachi East Constituency in the Oti Region has presented a Massey Ferguson Tractor and other farming implements to women in Dambai.

He said the support, estimated at GH¢150,000.00 from the MP's Common Fund was to boost farming activities in the Municipality and help women increase their yield.

Mr Gyato pledged to continue to provide support to farmers in various ways to make farming attractive in the constituency.

The women were grateful to the MP for his continuous support and pledged to make good use of the implements.

They told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that, the tractor came as relief and would help them cultivate more hectares.
