Prodigal, a member of VVIP is backing rapper Yaa Pono in his ‘battle’ with Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale.

On Tuesday evening, he posted a message on Facebook suggesting Wale is ‘dead’ as a result of Pono’s ‘lyrical blows’ against him (Wale).

I BEG Shatta Wale no dey rep NIMA so we no want his DEAD-BODY for NIMA make they Send een DEAD BODY go Back To KOLEGORNOR #RIPSHattaWale big up #PONOBIOM

The message was posted with a video which sees Prodigal surrounded by some young people in the Nima community saying they don’t want Wale’s ‘dead body’ to be buried in the community.

Prodigal and Shatta Wale have had their own share of disagreement or verbal wars if you will, about ‘who is who’ in Nima.

Background.

Rapper Yaa Pono is back with another diss song targeted at Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale. Titled ‘Gbee Naabu’ it sees Pono literally tear into Wale, reducing him to tatters.

The first one by the Tema-based artiste was ‘Noko’ where he boasts about how no one can attack or do anything to him.

The song is believed to be a response to Wale after the fall out arising from Pono’s inability to perform at a show in Cape Coast some two weeks ago.

Wale responded to the first song with the song ‘Say Fi’ where he questions the gender of the rapper and also use lots of unprintable words including suggesting he (Yaa Pono) was born as a result of rape.
