A former Northern Regional Minister, Prince Imoro Andani has renewed calls on Dagombas to unite for sustainable development.

He said Dagombas have to unite and fight poverty which is their common enemy of progress.

He spoke in an exclusive interview after paying courtesy calls on the Regent of Dagbon, Kampakuya- Naa Abdulai Yakubu Andani and the Boling- Lana Mahamadu Abdulai in Yendi.

He implored Dagombas to fully recover from their sharp division on Abudu and Andani lines and rise up to the occasion of building a prosperous Dagbon.

Prince Imoro Andani lauded the final roadmap to peace restoration in Dagbon and advocated an all-inclusive participation.

According to him, bringing to finality the chieftaincy impasse between the Abudus and the Andanis will attract investors to the Dagbon State.

In accordance with the implementation of the final roadmap, the Abudus are to begin the late Yaa-Naa Mahamadu Abdulai IV funeral on December 14 to 28, 2018.

It is expected that the Andani family will be privileged to perform the late Yaa-Naa Yakubu Andani II funeral from 4 to 18 January 2019.
