Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Daniel Bugri Naabu has accused his closest contender, Mohammed A Baantima Samba of vote-buying ahead of the Regional contest which is exactly a week away.

According to a letter dated April 5, 2018, believed to have been authored by him and addressed to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Mr Naabu claims Samba who is a businessman, has an inexhaustible flow of cash and logistics which he is using to influence delegates.

He disclosed that he cannot conjecture where the cash is coming from claiming that he is being financed by some persons according to grapevine sources who want to disgrace him because he [Bugri] did same to them in time past

“Currently, Mr Samba has received three V8 cross-country vehicles for his campaign. He has also carted in 150 pieces of Alova (Combian) motorcycles, 150 pieces of tricycles (motorkia) and 350 pieces of 125 apsonic motorcycles stocked for the D day to give them out to delegates for their votes”, he revealed.

Mr Bugri Naabu also fingered the Northern Regional Minister, Salifu Saeed, his Deputy, Solomon Boar and some MMDCEs of clandestinely working behind the scenes to have him disgraced at the elections in the three-paged leaked document.

“I am confident I will win but in the event that the unexpected happens, your appointees mentioned above are to blame”, he added
