Amenfi West NPP Parliamentary hopeful donates ICT tools to institutions

The ruling New Patriotic Party's Parliamentary hopeful for Amenfi West Constituency, Kofi Asante has donated computers and other accessories to some institutions in the area to improve their learning.

The donation includes thirty-three (33) desktop computers and thirty-three (33) UPSs to thirty CHPS compounds in the Wassa Amenfi West District.

Some of the beneficiary communities are; Afiena CHPS, Odumasi CHPS, Kwabeng CHPS, Okwantanium CHPS, Asanko CHPS, Asectec CHPS, Nyame Nnae CHPS and others.

The donations were made on his behalf by the members of the 'Friends of Kofi Asante'.

In an interview with Mr Kwame Ampong, CEO of 'Ahobrese Group of Companies' and a member of 'Friends of Kofi Asante', he revealed that it is the vision of Kofi Asante that all institutions in the Wassa Amenfi West District will be provided with free computers to improve on their services.

Mr. Ampong who spoke on behalf of Kofi Asante said Asankragua Senior High School and Asankragwa Senior High Technical have already benefited from forty-one (41) desktop computers, thin client computers with server.

He added that, a free internet connectivity service has been provided for both schools to improve on their learning.

Asankraguah Divisional and District Police Command, Alhaji Topooh School have also benefited from the donation by the NPP Parliamentary hopeful.

Some heads of the beneficiary institutions commended Kofi Asante for his actions and asked for God's blessings on him.
