Ajumako District Electoral Officer advocates patronage of Biometric exercise

The Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam District Electoral Officer, Mr Fiifi Caiquo has called on Ghanaian eligible voters to register on time when the new Biometric voters Registration exercise commence nationwide from March 24 to May 12 this year.

He said each polling station would have a team of registration officers who would work at a particular station for only 10 days, hence the need to respond promptly for the exercise.

Mr Caiquo who was addressing 51 youth leaders from identifiable organisations within the District elaborated on the electoral processes.

These include registration of voters, exhibition of voter’s register, filing of nomination papers, election/voting and declaration of results.

The Biometric Registration, Mr Caiquo said would prevent multiple registration as well as multiple voting and that the objective was for a comprehensive and accurate national voters
