Andy Appiah-Kubi.

According to the irritate youth, they have no regrets refusing to accept the Ramadan gifts from the MP and DCE and still insist the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Constituency, Hon. Andy Appiah-Kubi should redeem himself by fulfilling the litany of promises he made to the Zongo Community prior to the 2016 general elections.

“We want development in our community and nothing else. What we are doing is not politically motivated as some people want to portray to the public. We are only concern about the development of our community and that’s all. The MP has deceived us and until he fulfills his promise, we won’t accept any gift from him” Hamidu, leader of the youth noted.

He stated that was an insult on the intelligence of the Zongo Community and demanded the DCE renders an unqualified apology to them or face their wrath. He therefore stated the Chief going to the DCE’s residence wasn’t sanctioned by the Zongo Community and that, a betrayal of his people.

The MP since the story broke has denied sending the Hon. DCE on his behalf to present the items to the community.
