Adansi travels wins tour operator of the year award in Ashanti region

Obuasi based domestic travels and tour, Adansi Travels has been adjourned the Tourism Operator of the year at this year's Ashanti Regional Tourism Awards held at the conference hall of Golden Tulip in Kumasi on Saturday 31st October 2014
Adansi Travels ,which operate as a domestic travel and tour Agency deals with the purchasing of domestic flight tickets and hotel preservation for people in Obuasi and far as well as foreigners who need their services ,they were given the honor for their contribution to promoting tourism in the region and the country as a whole .
A citation following the award said ,the tour operator has made significant and consistent contribution toward the marketing and promotion of domestic tourism in Ghana ,they are innovative and have created several tour event in Obuasi to whip up interest in domestic tourism, their hard work, honest and dedicated staff have contributed to their success story .In recognition of your unique tour packages which has increase the tourism traffic from around the world into Ghana makes it wise to confirm on Adansi travels as the tour operator of the year in the Ashanti region .
Receiving the Award , the managing director of Adanse Travels Mr. Gideon Asare said he pray to working better than he is doing to win national award , and promote tourism in the country , 'it hasn't been easy coming this far , I wish to thank the staff of Adanse travels for making this dream a reality'' he said
Other winners included John Sly Hutchinson , Tour Guide /website of the year ,Multimedia Group Limited winning the 2014 Tourism oriented of the year, Kumasi Travel Agency won the Travel Agency of the year whiles Car Rental of the year was awarded to St Michaels' car rentals, Security of the year was won by Latex foam with Mr Stephen Asante of Ghana News Agency winning the Tourism writer of the year ,
Kokofohene Berima Akwesi Okugyesuo urged all award winners to work hard to promote tourism in the region and the country as a whole . The 9th edition of the regional Tourism Awards was themed; Harnessing Our Tourism Resources For National Development.
