The Ashanti regional chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi-Bosiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi has stated that only those without brains will mock Nana Addo's campaign promises.

The presidential candidate of the opposition NPP, Nana Addo has been widely criticised especially by the governing NDC over the feasibility of some of his promises.

Key among these policies include the 1 district, 1 factory, 1 village, 1 dam in the Northern region and his latest; the poverty alleviation policy which intends to allocate an amount of 1 million dollars to each of the 275 constituencies in Ghana.

The Infrastructure for Poverty Eradication Programme (IPEP) will be administered by three (3) development authorities to be established by the NPP administration by January 2017.

The development authorities are the Northern Development Authority, for the 3 northern regions; the Middle-Belt Development Authority, for the Brong Ahafo, Ashanti, and Eastern Regions; and the Coastal Development Authority for the 4 coastal regions.

The NDC has described the policy as fake and only meant to deceive voters to vote for the NPP. But Chairman Wontumi speaking to Kwame Tutu on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, explained that Nana Addo is not making promises that he cannot deliver and that, each of the promises made was thought through and are achievable.

The fire brand politician said he could manage the country even better than President Mahama, and so a competent man like Nana Addo, should not be doubted. ''Nana Addo can deliver on his 1 district, 1 factory.

Personally I have 6, 000 workers and the creation of jobs is not a difficult task. Is very cheap for us. We are very optimistic that our policies are realistic and attainable.

The public will be the best to judge. As for our critics, because they have failed to do what they should have done, they are doubting Nana Addo's policies.

It is also very easy for us to raise the funds for the Infrastructure for Poverty Eradication Programme (IPEP). With prudent management of our resources we can raise the funds.''

''Our downfall as a country today is due to the incompetence of President Mahama. He is vision less and when you have people who lacks vision leading this country, what do you expect? The NDC cannot do anything for this country,'' he said.
