Renewing Mahama’s mandate will spell doom for Ghana – Akufo-Addo

The New Patriotic Party(NPP) Presidential nominee, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appealed to Ghanaian electorates to to renew the mandate of the John Mahama-led NDC administration since such a move will spell doom for the country.

This he said, is because the NDC since the last 8 years has proven to be incompetent in finding solutions to the needs of the country.

Addressing the Chiefs and Elders of Ada, and Sege traditional areas as part of his tour in the Gt. Accra region, Nana Addo said countrywide there is a strong wind of Change in government this year, in view of the disappointment of Ghanaians in the Mahama-led administration.

“Everywhere I go, I have realised that people want a change of government. I believe Sege will be part of the change. I want the people of Sege and everybody to know that I have better policies to implement for Ghana’s development. The NPP will develop Ghana and not steal from citizens like what the current government is doing. We want to improve the future of children in this country,” he stated.

He thus promised to build a sea defence wall in Ada, Sege and Ningo- Prampram to stop tidal waves of destroying properties of fisherfolks.

“…We know there are many problems we have about the sea erosion in Ada. The work that began in Keta in Kufuor’s time that same work began here also in Ada. And these are some of the things that we have in mind to do if we have the nod in December. So we’ve come to appeal to you the people of Ada that this time round consider the elephant;come and ride on the back of the elephant and lets go together to the Jubilee House. Prosperity is possible for our country!
