Outspoken Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako popularly referred to as Chairman Wontumi has disclosed that President Nana Akufo-Addo cannot summon him to the flagstaff house like a ‘small boy’

Reacting to claims he was summoned over the recent raid at the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council by NPP vigilante group the Delta Force, he said “the president is my friend and so will not summon me like that but will rather talk to me”

He debunked media reports he had direct links with the group and had given his blessing to their atrocious activities in recent times after providing them an office to operate.

“I know these people very well but I have no link with them and besides I wasn’t summoned by President to explain circumstances that led to the attack” he noted.

According to him, there are currently no vacancies to absorb the teeming unemployed youth in the country because almost all sectors are choked but is optimistic that this situation will be a thing of the past if President Akufo Addo’s policies and projects are rolled out.

“Nana Akufo Addo was elected to serve the people of Ghana and so it is important that we have trust in him to deliver on 80 percent of his promises. By the end of our 4-year term, trust me Ghana will become like Dubai under Akufo Addo”
