Solomon Yaw Nkansah, Former National Communications Director of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged the youth of his party to creatively cause agitations in their various campuses in the country to make them popular and cause disaffection for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP).

According to the one time Regional Youth Organiser of the party in the Western Region, he has been a beneficiary of fame after he deliberately created violent scenes and caused student agitations during his reign as a youth leader.

In a leaked audio sighted by MyNewsGh.com, Soloman Nkansah is heard charging some members of TEIN and NDC Youth in Bolgatanga in the Upper East region to be courageous and stir up agitations on their campuses which would cause them to be victimized by their Principals and Vice-Chancellors and subsequently make them popular.

“As a leader, you must be innovative, you must be daring because the first principle of leadership is to be courageous. If you are not courageous you cannot lead. If you are courageous too, you would always take the risk. So the principle will lead you to agitate the campuses, not on this irresponsible agitations but agitations that will agitate the minds and the student body” he said.

Narrating how he deliberately organised some party youth and staged an attack on him mainly to cause violence at an NPP program in the Western region, he disclosed that he hired a macho man by name Akasoba who hails from the Upper East region to give him a hefty slap at the NPP program and how he fell to the ground wailing uncontrollably, an act he said succeeded in disrupting the program and making him popular.

“Me, when I was the regional youth organiser the NPP came for a program. I called my boys and said please this program we have to use it. I said look pick a macho guy [the guy] is a Frafra guy, Akasoba. I said Akasoba do you know that you are the one who would slap me? He said boss how can I slap you and I said no you will put [while demonstrating and clapping his hand to sound like a slap]. Everybody will know that you have slapped me then I’ll also start wailing then all of you will pour into the program. Look they brought 20 soldiers. Even the Regional Minister said but that Solo is he a wizard because he the Regional Minister saw that the guy didn’t slap me but I was on the ground wailing and rolling,” he narrated to a cheerful clap by his audience.

He added that “If you do it a hostile Principal or VC will victimize that person and the moment victimization comes that person becomes popular on campus”.

The failed National Organiser Aspirant of the NDC who lost to Joshua Akamba further charged the youth of the party to take advantage of the perceived corruption in the current administration to discredit the NPP and not sit aloof thinking the NPP will easily give way in next year’s elections.
