Defeated National Youth Organizer aspirant of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Yaw Brogya Genfi has broken his silence after last Saturday’s conference that saw George Opare Addo emerge victorious ahead of him.

Mr Genfi who was tipped as the favourite going into the contest obtained 386 valid votes as against his main contender who is a Former Municipal Chief Executive of Akuapem North sweeping 523 votes.

Many have been yearning to hear from the former Ashanti Regional Youth Organiser of NDC after last weekend’s exercise but he has revealed that he is soldiering on towards the victory of the party in 2020.

A statement he released and copied to MyNewsGh.com stated “ I write to officially congratulate Hon. George Opare Addo on his victory as the Youth Organizer Elect of our great party, the National Democratic Congress.

I have personally reached out to him to congratulate him, with assurances that my team and I will do our possible best to give our time and support to work hard for the success of our party come 2020.

I pray the good Lord bless us all and give us the strength to face the task ahead as a united force.

I say, thank you to our able delegates for their handwork and commitment to the party. Together we will help secure victory for John Mahama and the NDC come 2020. As a committed Youth Activist, I soldier on – in all weather!

Thank you.
