Auditor-General petitions Nana Addo over interfere

Domelovo was just preemptively appointed by John Cribo Mahama to watch his back. So I believe the president also needed someone who has previously manned the department to serve as checks and balances. If Domelovo thinks that Agyeman Dua has engaged in any corrupt activities, he should quickly come out and tell Ghanaians, otherwise he should just keep quiet and do what he’s supposed to do, or he can just bow out gracefully. Do you think all the revelations that some NDC contractors received double payments for their work and other corrupt activities that took place under NDC and Mahama, is the work of only Domelevo? Of course not. It’s a team work and he’s the head, so all the accolades goes to him, but behind the scenes who knows what he really stands for? From what I’m reading it’s quite obvious the guy wants to boss himself on his deputies and the board, so who would let him? Why has he failed to audit the Mahama administration from 2008 to 2016? Definitely if he decides not audit the NDC administrations from 2008, when the board directs him to that effect, what action do you expect the Board Chairman to take? Sit down unconcerned? The constitution of makes everyone accountable to somebody, even the executive president is accountable to the electorate. So the notion that the Auditor General is not accountable to the Board is just a wishful thinking. This is exactly what Charlotte Osei did at the EC. And you know what happened to her!
